Take advantage of the flexibility and intelligence of your Africa Twin's CAN bus electrical system to dramatically simplify accessory installation with the new and improved DENALI CANsmart™ GEN II controller.

Description

The DENALI CANsmart™ controller offers plug-and-play installation and integrated control of up to four accessories, enabling dozens of customizable configurations that can be directly controlled from your Africa Twin switch bank or the CANsmart™ accessory management software.

The four circuits of CANsmart are pre-programmed to connect and independently control two sets of DENALI lights, a SoundBomb horn, and our auxiliary B6 brake light.

Gen II: more features, more power, more versatility.

Unlike the Gen I CANsmart, the four circuits in the Gen II can provide a full 10 amps of continuous power, and each circuit can be configured to run any type of accessory. The maximum power consumption for the entire unit remains at 30 amps continuous. The Gen II also features two new auxiliary light configurations. You can now modulate the auxiliary lights for increased visibility, and configure the left and right side lights to independently turn off when the corresponding turn signal is activated.

Features

High/low synchronization: configure passing and auxiliary lights to switch between programmable high/low settings using the factory high-beam switch.
Light modulation: configure low-beam or auxiliary lights to modulate and increase your visibility to other motorists.
Flash to Pass - Need to get someone's attention? Press the high-beam switch three times and the auxiliary lights will flash three times faster.
Honda Africa Twin CRF1100L (2020-2023)
On/off and dimming: independently switch two sets of lights ON/OFF and change their intensity (for day and night) directly from your bike's factory trip switch. Click three times to turn the lights on/off, or hold for 3 seconds to enter dimming mode, where you can adjust intensity between 10% and 100%.
Cancel with turn signal: switches off the corresponding auxiliary light when the turn signal is on, preventing powerful auxiliary lights from overpowering the signal. Flash with turn signal: flashes the corresponding auxiliary light with the turn signal, allowing auxiliary lights to function as turn signals. Plug & Play horn installation: quickly and easily connect high-output aftermarket horns such as our SoundBomb™ without adding an extra harness or relay.
Strobe with horn: with this feature selected, CANsmart™ software automatically activates the low-beam or auxiliary lights when you sound the horn. This works with either the factory horn or the SoundBomb™ horn.
Deceleration-activated "Smart Brake" technology: CANsmart™ reads vehicle speed in real time to activate the auxiliary brake light during deceleration before you touch the brake. You can adjust the sensitivity and minimum speed at which Smart Brake activates.
Brake flash patterns: CANsmart™ provides four different flash patterns that make our super-bright auxiliary brake lights even more noticeable to motorists behind you. Configure the auxiliary brake lights to flash only during hard braking, flash continuously while braking, or flash rapidly four times and then remain steady (California-legal flash rate).
Switched power supply: CANsmart™ provides a universal "accessory" option that supplies clean switched 12 V power. Any accessory connected to this circuit turns on and off with the ignition.
Delayed shutoff: accessories on this circuit can also be configured to remain powered for up to 30 seconds after the bike is switched off. Onboard power: the "accessory" circuit option is ideal for powering your GPS, phone, heated gear, or other electronic devices.
