Description

Mount for SoundBomb Split Dual-Tone.

This bracket allows you to mount the SoundBomb Split Dual-Tone on the optimal location of your BMW R 1250 GS/GSA. This kit includes a powder-coated steel bracket for mounting the horn compressor behind the cylinder head, and a second bracket for mounting the horn unit centered beneath the fairing support.

This mounting system for the SoundBomb Split Dual-Tone has been designed to ensure that the horn components can only be installed in one specific orientation, eliminating the possibility of incorrect installation and maximizing suspension clearance. The two M8 mounting points and the indexing tab on the horn housing ensure that the horn cannot rotate once installed.

Compatible with:

Special equipment note for owners of R1200 GS models from 2015 and 2016: BMW continuously reviewed the hardware of the fairing bracket where this horn is mounted on the motorcycle. To ensure proper fitment on models from 2015 and 2016 only, please confirm (before purchasing) whether your motorcycle uses M6 bolts or M8 bolts to connect the fairing bracket to the steering tube. If your motorcycle uses M8 bolts located on the right side, this is the correct part number. If your motorcycle uses M6 bolts located on the left side, you will need part number HMT.07.10400.
