On the PRO fuel tank ring for the Ténéré 700, the ring is mounted on a model-specific mounting component. This component is securely fastened to the motorcycle's fuel tank.

Description

The PRO tank ring seamlessly combines the innovative capabilities of two German companies. The QUICK-LOCK locking mechanism, a proven feature of SW-MOTECH tank rings for years, is now even easier to use thanks to the Fidlock magnetic guide system. We've significantly improved the top ring design: the adjustable top ring is now pre-mounted using a guide rail within the tank bag, eliminating the need to drill any holes.

In this way, the upper ring allows us to orient it according to each specific case within the guide rail located on the underside of the bag. Once the correct position is found, the upper ring is securely fastened. If you wish to switch motorcycles, the position of the ring can be adjusted as needed.

The magnetic guide rail, developed by Fidlock, complements a mechanical device already perfected: SW-MOTECH’s QUICK-LOCK locking system. The magnets guide the upper ring to the correct position on the tank ring, ensuring a secure and reliable closure. Thus, the power of the magnets assists in positioning the bag. The bag is secured with a single hand movement, and you can immediately set off, with your luggage safely in place, ready for the fun to begin.

The mechanical locking device secures the bag's position, while magnets join the two parts of the ring. Ensuring the tank bag remains firmly in the same position, regardless of the distance traveled, is a task handled by the robust plastic, reinforced with fiberglass, and the precise geometry of its ratchet mechanism.

The PRO tank ring, protected by patent, is designed to fit the filler neck of the corresponding motorcycle model. This ensures optimal positioning on the fuel tank.
